Productos bancarios: hay que mirar la letra pequeña

CajamadridLlevo unas semanas viendo una campaña de publicidad muy divertida de Cajamadrid, en la que se ofrece un depósito a un 12% de interés si domicilias la nómina. En la campaña aparecen varias personas que no tienen nóminas y que deciden hacerse con una, desde una niña que pide a sus padres su paga por nómina hasta unos gánsteres, pasando por unos hippies.

Como digo, una campaña muy divertida y que deja entrever un depósito muy interesante, al 12%, cuando los depósitos "bienvenida" que dan muchos bancos llegan como mucho al 10%. Pero lo que no cuentan en el anuncio es que dicho depósito al 12% se obtiene, aparte de por domiciliar la nómina, por contratar un depósito a 11 meses al 3,25%, teniendo disponible el mes siguiente el depósito a un mes al 12%. Total, que si juntamos los doce meses de depósito tenemos depósito a un año a un TAE de un 4,04%.

En el mercado se pueden obtener rentabilidades similares sin necesidad de domiciliar la nómina. Por ejemplo en ING Direct hay un depósito a 12 meses al 4,10 % TAE. O en ibanesto.com hay otro al 4% en el que tampoco es necesario domiciliar la nómina. En uno-e disponen de un depósito parecido al 4,20%.

En conclusión, que la publicidad llama mucho la atención, un 12% parece mucho, pero si luego se mira con detenimiento la letra pequeña se descubre que no era tan buena oferta. Simplemente comparable a las de otras entidades bancarias.
